Jenny Wallace has been an avid civil war historian and reenactor for the last 7 years. As a student of visual communication, Miss Wallace began exploring photography as an additional medium of expression. The result was a combination of her two passions, visual art and civil war history, to exhibit a glimse of a time gone by. The prints are offered in both black&white and color, as the neutral tones seem to draw the viewer into America's past and the vivid colors give the viewer a sense of America's future through the preservation of the historic sites where these images were captured.
Miss Wallace hopes to tour more of America's historic civil war sites in the coming months and offer prints from Tunnel Hill, Georgia; Chatanooga, Tennessee; Selma, Alabama and others. In the years following the completion of her college education, she hopes to expand her portfolio further by traveling to historic civil war Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. LATEST NEWS!-- Long time best friend and fellow reenactor/historian of the photographer, Mr. Jake Ray, has asked her to marry him! Miss Wallace delights in announcing the engagement and will, in due time, have this website updated to advertise prints by "Photographer Jenny Ray". |
